MR. LUCIOUS ‘LOU’ GLYMPH, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Lucious “Lou” Glymph, Jr., of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, Octo- ber 18, 2020, will be held on Saturday, October 31st, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, Florida, Elder Wilbert Fleming, Jr., officiat- ing.
Lucious Glymph, Jr., was born on November 27, 1969, to Lucious, Sr., and Bernestine Glymph in Tampa, Florida. He attended C. Leon King High School, Tampa, Florida. After graduating from high school in 1988, he enlisted and served in the United States Navy. After his military service ended, he continued to move through life to the beat of his own drum, embarking on a colorful jour- ney of life.
Lucious, known for his charismatic charm and sponta- neous zest for life, worked in the hospitality industry for nu- merous years.
Lucious was a free spirit full of spontaneity and life. Lucious made a conscious effort to make new friends while em- bracing the philosophy, “Be genuinely interested in every- one you meet and everyone you meet will be genuinely inter- ested in you.” As a devoted Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, he was known to enjoy the season in the company of friends and family celebrating wins and dis- missing losses. The authenticity
   of his actions and words al- lowed others to accept him as he is and was.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Lucious Glymph,
Sr.
He is survived by: his sons,
Ryan Johnson, Sr., and DeAun- drey Glymph; grandchildren, Eden Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Jr., Avery Johnson, Abreyona Milles, Dezirae Glymph, Lan- don Grenon, Aundraya Glymph, Noah Boose, and Dream Glymph; mother, Bernestine Glymph; sisters, Diane Williams (Lee) and Angela Marie Glymph-McKinnon (An- thony); aunts, Kathy Flournoy, Shelia Barrett, and Christine Brown; uncles; Harvey Glymph, Bobby (Aletha) Cotton, Regi- nald (Linda) Cotton, Lawrence (Renee) Ludd, Romelle Brown, Robert (Gail) Brown; nephews, Vonkeli Williams, Ronj’ais Williams, Nick Anthony McKin- non, II, Joshua Anthony McK- innon; cousins, Bobby Cotton, Jr., Greg Cotton, Bernestine Cotton, Horace Flournoy (JaNi- cion), Sherrell Cotton, Kryshonna Palmer (Raymond), Rasheen Threatts (Wanda), Karanisha Threatts, Tarnisha Cotton, Tarra Cotton, Reginald Cotton, Dwayne Cotton, Jarvis (Alisha), Robert Brown, Jr., Bobby Flournoy, Michael Ludd, Jerrell Ludd, Shylonda Walker (Gary), Shywanda Stanford (Ty- rone), Selma Taylor; special friends, Robles College Crew, Riverview Terrace Community and other sorrowful relatives and special friends; and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, October 30th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday for the service.
A “Celebration of Life” repast after the funeral cere- mony will be held at Riverview Terrace Park, 2:00 p.m., 7701 N. Florida, Ave. Tampa, Florida 33604.

SISTER DELORES M. MOND
A Homegoing Celebration for Sister Delores M. Mond of Tampa, Florida who passed away, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, will be held Saturday, October 31st, 1:00 p.m. at Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2607 E. 24th Avenue, Bishop Sylvester Robinson, pastor, officiating. The inter- ment will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Sister Delores M. Mond was born December 2, 1929, in Macon, Georgia. She gradu- ated from Palm Beach Public School System. She matricu- lated at Florida Agricultural Mechanical University, where she received a degree.
She was employed as a school teacher in the Hillsbor- ough County Public School Sys- tem over 30 years teaching Physical Education.
She taught at the following schools Booker T. Washington Senior High School, Middleton High School and Memorial Middle School and retired while teaching at Robles Ele- mentary.
She was the championship basketball girl’s coach at Booker T. Washington Senior High School. She was a well- known teacher in Hillsborough County Public School System.
She leaves to cherish won- derful and loving memories that will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her loving sons, William H. Stokes, III, (Carla) and Michael B. Stokes, Sr., (Mag- gie); loving grandchildren, An- toinette Stokes, Bryant Wilburn (Tonecia), Tiffanie Davis (Alton, Sr.), Tanisha Stokes, Michael Stokes, Jr., (Desiree); goddaughter, Retha Hobbs; a host of grandchil- dren; great-grandchildren; other relatives.
Special thanks to Bamboo Villas Assisted Living Facility and Staff, Aikens Funeral Home and Staff, Bishop Sylvester Robinson and Peace Baptist Church Family.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 30th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family will be present from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MR. JERALD “CARTOOLEY” LEONARD NELSON, SR.
A Private Homegoing Cele- bration for Mr. Jerald “Cartoo- ley” Leonard Nelson, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020, was held on Tuesday, Oc- tober 27th, 11:00 a.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Gerard Moreland, officiated. The interment took place in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jerald Leonard Nelson, Sr., was born May 28, 1947, in Jack- sonville, Florida. He attended Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
Jerald enjoyed antique trucks, restoring old cars and was an electronic genius.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, J. L. and Rosa Lee Nelson; brother, Anthony Nelson and Venda Rose Nel- son.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his lov- ing wife, Jennifer Conway Nelson; children, Jerald L. Nel- son, Jr., and Chauncey C. Nel- son; grandchildren, Anquette D. Nelson, Jacob Benjamin, Chaneese Nelson, Jada Ben- jamin, Jerald Nelson, III, Jor- dan Wilder; aunts, Dorise Jackson, Evelyn Wynn, Shirley Kohn and Juanita Rogers; un- cles, Eddie Rogers and Clarence “Luke” Nelson, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives that will miss him. There was no viewing or repast, closed cas- ket.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Rosa Lee Peters of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020, will be held Saturday, October 31st, 12:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Elder Gladstone Robinson, eu- logist and Elder Patricia Smith, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Rosa Lee Peters was born September 4, 1917, in Quincy, Florida, to Jack and Hattie Watkins.
She attended Mt. Calvary Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed styling hair.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Alvin Pe- ters and grandson, Alvin Pe- ters, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her granddaughter, Cherrie Pe- ters; great-grandchildren, Tyshon, Keshaun, Devon and Stephaun Peters; 5 brothers; 6 sisters; nieces, Dorothy Craw- ford, Charlene Hudson, Syn- ora White, Veronica Curry, Priscilla McDonald, Zondra Wallace, Jurena Jackson and Hattie Ruth Watkins; nephews, Curtis, Robert, George and Alfredie Williams, Charles Jackson, Henry, David, Sr., and Kenneth Belvin; cousin, Norma Mar- shall; friends, Mary Johnson, Lisa Hall, Rosa Kennedy, Pat Smith (Rhumell), Wallace Atkins and Frank James (Rose) and Norma Nelson.
