Gentlemen Of Phi Beta Sigma Visit Tampa Ahead Of Convention Decision

If you see Tampa Bay turning blue on Friday, don’t worry. The esteemed gentle- men of Phi Beta Sigma are in the city.
The national committee for the gentlemen of Phi Beta Sigma will visit Tampa on Friday, March 4, 2022, as Tampa vies for their conven- tion in 2025.

grown from three brothers to an international organization with chapters across the world. The Phi Beta Sigma National Foundation, the Phi Beta Sigma Federal Credit Union and The Sigma Beta Club Foundation are just a few of the achievements from the fraternity. Their sister or- ganization, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is the sister organization of the fra- ternity.
Dr. Anderson states that in addition to the 4,000 to 5,000 fraternity brothers, there will be many vendors, families, and guests. The host city must have many ac- tivities close to the hotel and strong partnerships with in- dustry and civic institutions.

partners such as the March of Dimes and the NAACP, will also be attending the Conclave and will need ac- commodations as well.
In every city that hosts their biannual meeting, the brothers become involved in the community and perform community service.
Dr. Anderson states the fraternity will continue to de- fine service in the future and continue their service. The late Rep. John Lewis was a member of the fraternity as well as A. Philip Ran- dolph, the father of modern black labor unions.
The local chapter of Phi Beta Sigma is led Mr. Luzon Dickerson and was voted the best international chapter in 2009.
