Author’s Book Shares Lessons On Life, Love, Leadership
BY GWEN HAYES Sentinel Editor
When Ms. Lori A. Manns re- leased her book, Divine Downloads, Loriology: 33 Lessons On Life, Love, & Leadership, back in October, 2019, she had no idea that these uncertain times would come and she’d have a product that would be helpful to so many women.
“There are tons of women living with a lot of pain and mental and emo- tional anxiety,” she said in a telephone interview. “The pain they feel often bleeds into other parts of their lives,” she continued. “That’s why it’s so im- portant to work on your personal devel- opment.”
Divine Downloads, Loriology: 33 Lessons On Life Love, & Leadership, is a collection of 33 insightful and original revelations from author, speaker and business coach, Lori A. Manns.
Divine Downloads, Loriology, was designed to help individuals reach their purpose, fulfill their divine destiny and

inspire them to achieve the full poten- tial of all that they were created to be,
do and have.
Explains Ms. Manns, “Sometimes
life hinders us from accomplishing our goals and God-given assignments. Dis- appointing things like death, divorce, downsizing, disease or other devastat- ing life occurrences may happen. How- ever, it doesn't have to stop you from achieving your goals and living an abundant life,” Ms. Manns said.
Divine Downloads: Loriology of- fers a roadmap to help you not just sur- vive, but thrive as you seek to achieve your heart’s desires and reach your di- vine destiny.
“The main lesson is to stay con- nected to the Divine Source who cre- ated you, God,” she says. “When you seek direction from the Divine Source, you will always have the inner compass to guide your pathway to purpose, pros- perity and fulfillment. Divine Down- loads, Loriology will guide you along your journey and remind you of the most important lessons on life, love and leadership.”
The longest chapter in the book, she
says, is on forgiveness, it’s an equalizer. “If we can get by this, we’re well on the way.”
Before the pandemic struck, Ms. Manns was busy fulfilling speaking en- gagement to talk about the book. How- ever, that ended in early April when the country shut down. She’s working on and planning to have a workbook re- leased later this year to accompany the book, “as they navigate their purpose in life and their walk,” she said.
A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Com- munication, Ms. Manns resides in At- lanta, GA, where she is very active. She is the founder and president of Quality Media Consultant Group, a business consultancy firm. Prior to founding QMC, she was Senior Multi-Media Ac- count Manager for CBS Radio and Cox Radio.
Additionally, she is also the founder and president of Live Healthy & Thrive Youth Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization promoting children’s health.
