Church’s Community Outreach Will Include Visit From ‘Magic’ Johnson

A local congregation is hosting a “Pop Up Pantry” on Thursday, No- vember 21, 2019, 4 p. m.-6 p. m. The event will be held at the Cyrus Greene Community Center, 2101 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. (33610).
Pastor Tom Jones of Heaven Destiny Church said the church is hosting the “Pop Up Pantry” with the co-sponsorship of Simply Healthcare Plans.
Earvin “Magic” Johnson, the company’s national spokesperson, will be available with company repre- sentatives to share information and resources about Simply Healthcare. Several other vendors will also be on site.
