BIG BEND CHANNEL – AIDS TO NAVIGATION PTB Project No. 20-01819
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors interested in constructing two (2) steel truss towers that are 150 feet and 200 feet tall for use in maritime navigation at the Big Bend Channel located within Tampa Bay.
PTB will hold a NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID TELECONFERENCE on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Prospective bidders are encouraged to participate and should view the documents and drone footage prior to the teleconference. See Instructions to Bidders Section of the bid document for teleconference details.
The ITB is only available from DemandStar (www.demandstar.com). Interested firms shall submit an electronic response to Demandstar. Sealed Bids are due by Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on PTB projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the bids.
