Brown Memorial COGIC To Host Community Weekend Event

Gloria Jones and Jayson Caines of Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ are spearheading an event that they say is “full of activities for the kids.”
On Saturday, August 7, 2021, the free event will be held at Al Lopez Park, 10 a m. - 3 p. m., Shelter 311. With the theme, “Save The Youth With Sports – Bringing It To The Streets,” the event will have free food, music, speakers and lots of sporting events (games, bounce house, etc.). One of the sponsors of the event will be Mike and Shamina Pettway of A Good Timing Bail Bonds.
