The defensive tackle did not say if he will appeal.

PEYTON AND ELI MANNING
ESPN has sought to get Peyton Manning as its “Mon- day Night Football” analyst for years. They’ve succeeded — al- beit in a new, non-traditional way.

The brothers have agreed to do ten games a year for each of the next three seasons, which will air on ESPN2 alongside the traditional “Monday Night Football” broadcast on ESPN.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers leg- endary quarterback Tom Brady might be hanging up his jersey very soon. Arguably the greatest quarterback the sport has ever seen, Brady holds a number of NFL records including seven Super Bowl Championship titles.
The longevity of his profes- sional football career has amazed fans and sports critics worldwide. However, recently Brady’s trainer spoke on The Adam Schefter Podcast, touch- ing on Brady’s career. He shared, “I think the biggest ac- complishment from me will come probably if we make it through age 45 because that’s what his goal was. That will probably be the proudest mo- ment for me, to say, ‘Hey, we actually did it.’ I know from my perspective that I want to honor my promise to him in helping him with his goal. If his goal changes, no problem. If he says, ‘Hey, I think I’m going to call it a day,’ then great. No problem. I will 100 percent support that.”
At the moment, Brady does not appear to be ready just yet to throw in the towel on his NFL career. The QB, who is now 43, recently spoke on an episode of SiriusXM Town

Hall with Jim Gray, saying
“Things change as you get older and there’s a lot of different re- sponsibilities I have in my life. My kids and my family is cer- tainly very important and they made a lot of sacrifice over a long period of time to watch me play. So, you know, I owe it to them, too.”
Brady added, “I play be- cause I love the game. I play be- cause I love to compete. We shouldn’t stop our life, even though we love something be- cause it’s just, someone puts an arbitrary timeline on that. And I felt for a long time, I could play until I was 45 years old. I think I committed to say, ‘Hey, I’m going to play till I’m 45.’ And this year I’ll be 44, which naturally takes me to the next year. I’ve got a two-year con- tract. We’ll see what happens beyond that.”
Legendary college football coach Bobby Bowden has been diagnosed with a termi- nal medical condition, he an- nounced Wednesday.
The longtime Florida State coach said in a statement that he was “at peace” following the diagnosis.
“I’ve always tried to serve God’s purpose for my life, on and off the field, and I am pre- pared for what is to come,” Bowden said in the state- ment, via Jim Henry of the Tallahassee Democrat. “My wife Ann and our family have been life’s greatest blessing.
“I am at peace.”
The Bowden family did not reveal details about the di-

Richard Sherman, Wife Appear To Reconcile After Arrest; She Shows Up To Court With Him
NFL star Richard Sherman walked out of his Friday ar- raignment holding hands with his wife, Ashley.
Former Seahawks star cor- nerback pleaded not guilty in King County District Court.
Richard Sherman faces five misdemeanor charges for DUI and threatening to break into his father-in-law’s Red- mond home.
He entered the courtroom holding his wife’s hand. In fact, they looked like just any other loving couple. But what was visible in court belies the 911 calls Ashley Sherman made pleading for help.
Richard and Ashley Sherman were hand in hand, as he likely took the longest walk of his 33 years, down the
hallway of the King County courthouse.
But if so, he wasn’t letting it show.
When asked for a com- ment, he said, “I’m just having a blessed day. You know how that goes.”
Sherman was in King County district courtroom 326 to answer for what was cap- tured on surveillance video.
It happened during the early morning hours of Wednesday when he allegedly drove drunk past a traffic bar- rier on State Route 520 then tried to break into his father- in-law’s Redmond home.
