‘Making A Difference, One Patient At A Time!’ Doctor Hosts Patient Appreciation Day
There were smiles all around during Dr. Kim- berly Gray-White's first Patient Appreciation Day on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Pa- tients came from near (one block away) and far (Lake- land, FL,) for food, gifts, hugs, and photos at Reliance Healthcare (Dr. Kimberly Gray-White's newly re- named practice).
Reliance Healthcare is a family medicine office nes- tled in the Tampa Heights community. The leading physician, Kimberly Gray- White, M.D., P.A., gradu- ated from Northwestern University, Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University-Medicine and Sci- ences, and completed her residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanstown, IL.
She's been in practice for 23 years and is the wife of Dr. Keith White, plus the mother of Kaleigh (20 years old), Kyah (18 years old) and Trent (14 years old) White. Her practice is lo- cated at 508 W. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Tampa 33603, where she en- thusiastically commits her- self to hundreds of patients who reside and work throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Dr. Gray-White,
thought of the idea for Pa- tient Appreciation Day some
time ago and decided to make it a reality with the help of her family, friends, marketing/event coordinator (Syntia King, CEO of Emi- nence Brand Image Market- ing), staff, and community.
Bubba Q's Food Truck catered the event with CEO, Brittani Baker, serving up tasty dishes of BBQ wings or the bacon BBQ cheeseburger with cole slaw or her award winning mac and cheese. Brittani was featured on Shark Tank, and Season Two of the Food Network's BBQ Brawl. She thoroughly enjoys grilling fan favorites for her patrons when she's not on the big screen.
Joshua Montgomery,
Marketpoint Sales Represen- tative of Humana, passed out various goodies to each of the attendees.
The rain held off until the final hour of the Patient Ap- preciation Day.
One attendee stated, "No Doctor has ever thought of me this much. She calls me to see how I'm doing in be- tween visits. Then, I check my mail to find an invite which says come to our office for free food, gifts and photos with your Doctor. Once I get here, I didn't have to do any- thing but drive up. They brought me a hot plate of good food. I received multi- ple bags of useable, thought-
