MR. ANDRE M. THOMPSON
Mr. Andre’ M. Thompson of Tampa, Florida, passed away Sat- urday, August 28, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted, Satur-

day, September 18 at 2:00 p.m.
at Ray Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McIver officiat- ing. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mr. Thompson was a native and resident of Tampa for 29 years. He attended East Bay High School. He worked as a Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter at Piper Fire Protection.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his devoted mother, Tamika Walker and his father, Johnny Thompson; one loving daughter, Arienna Thompson; brother, Adam Brown and wife, Samantha Brown; sisters, Jaylin Westly, Alexis Thompson, Jamyrra Thompson, Brittany Thompson and Ernesia Sutton Ireland; aunts, Xiamara Carter, Melissa Jackson, Toni Jackson, Tammy Jackson, Barbara Jackson, Donna Jackson, and Mary Ander- son-Copeland; uncles, Timothy Walker, Jr., and Jimmy Jackson; grandmothers, Cassandra Carter, Virginia Thompson and Ernestine Walker; grandfather, Timothy Walker, Sr.; nieces: Daniella Sutton-Ireland, Lilliana Payano and Samiya Coleman; nephews: Adam Brown, Jr., Akai Brown, Elijah Sutton-Ireland and Bryson Siplin; as well as a host of sorrowing cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends.
The remains will repose from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 17th at Ray Williams Funeral Home.

Mr. Willie James Nathan was born on September 26, 1947, in Lloyd, Florida, to the late Maude Nathan and James Nathan, Jr. He enjoyed music, dancing, fam- ily and friends.
Willie was preceded in death by: his mother, Maude Nathan, father, James Nathan, Jr.; and sister, Ella Pierce; and step- mother, Ella Miullins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Victoria Nathan; daughter, Ashley Nathan; son, Gerald Nathan, Sr. (Kimberly); 5 sisters, Dayna Nathan, Barbara Mullins, Loretta Mullins, Alma Wright (Ronald), and Betsy Ball (Jarvis); 3 brothers, Johnnie Nathan (Wilma), Harold Nathan (Janice), and Anthony Nathan (Nancy); aunt, Edna Rodgers; 10 grandchildren, Katania Gay, Aaron Wesley, Ri-Kayla John- son, Richard Johnson, Jr., Brandi Nathan, Bridgette Nathan, Bethany Nathan, Gerald Nathan, Jr., Jeremiah Nathan, and Samaria Duberry; 2 great- grands, Laila Dorzeme, and Livvi Dorzeme; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends, which in- cludes one special friend, Mau- reen Gilnite.

MS, WILLIE PEARL DAVIS HIGHSMITH
On September 4th, 2021, Willie Pearl Davis Highsmith heard the Master’s call and closed her eyes as He cradles her in his arms.
Mrs. Willie Pearl Davis High- smith was born on November 6, 1943 in New Brocton, Alabama. She later moved to Tampa, where she attended public schools in Hillsborough County, graduating from Middleton High School, class of 1960.
Continuing her life’s journey, Pearl attended Brewster Technical College, graduating with a degree in nursing and gaining employ- ment at Tampa General Hospital, later retiring after 32 years of serv- ice.
After retirement she would focus on spending time with fam- ily as well as raising her grandchil- dren. She enjoyed shopping, eating, reading and most of all spending time with her great- grandchildren; two of which, Aar- quis and Kayden, who she affectionately referred to as her “running partners.”
She loved her Pastor and First Lady, Rev. Reginal and Sis Debo- rah Webb, and all the New Bethel Church family, where she attended faithfully.
Mrs. Pearl was preceded in death by: her parents, Mamie and Willis Bowick; her husband, Wilbert Highsmith; her sister, Mary Engram; adopted daughter, Juanita Longstreet; and other family members.
She leaves to cherish precious memories with: her children Vic- toria, William, Harold (Penny), Crystal, Richard (Sharon); grand- children, Rashad, Tiffany, Troy, Harold, Brittany, Aaron, Chavon- teshia; special granddaughter, Princess (Marcus, Sr.), Christo- pher, Quinton, Lamena, Robert, Ronnie; great-grandchildren, Sonijah, Aarquis, Journey, Anaiya, King, Emrih, Troy, III, Sahara, Naliya, Trey, Juice, Kayden, Ja’k- ing, Troy, IV, Marcus, Jr.; a loving niece/goddaughter, Danielle Larry (Edward); brothers Willis Bowick, David Bowick (Karla), Charles Irvin (Leslie); special aunt, Ruby Pearl Bailey; nieces and nephews, Delphine, Angela, Michael, David, Ahkeelah, Josh, Charles, Jr., Devin (Mary), Lacey (Jerry, Layla and a host of other family and friends.

MR. KEITH ANTHONY HENRY
Mr. Keith Anthony Henry, one of the original owners of the BAR-B-QUE KING, or also known as “Special K,” left this earth on Friday, Sept 10, 2021.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Thursday, Sep- tember 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Rochester Jacobs, Sr., Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Keith Henry was born in Detroit, MI to the parentage of Virgil and Emma Henry. The Henry family moved to Tampa, Florida, in the late 1960s to take over the family restaurant.
Keith was a graduate of Hillsborough High and moved on to play college football in At- lanta. He shortly had to end his career due to a terrible knee in- jury.
Years later, Keith moved to Arkansas and became the proud father of 3 beautiful daughters. Shortly after, he moved back home to Tampa to continue to help the family with the “Origi- nal BAR-B-QUE King.”
Keith was preceded in death by: his parents, Virgil and Emma Henry; his siblings, Vir- gil, Jr., Judy, Gwendolyn, John Darryl, and Valerie.
Keith is survived by: his 3 daughters, Ebony (Lee), Alicia (Shannon) and Felicia (Jacob); 10 grandchildren, Te’Vion, Sharod, Olivia, Lee, III, Terrell, Emma, Alani, Syia, Ava, and Kaden; sister, Alicia Renée; two nieces, Amelia (“KiKi”), Tiffany; and nephew, Keith. Keith also left behind a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

MR. PRINCE ALBERT MCKINNEY
Funeral services for Mr. Prince Albert McKinney, who passed away on August 31, 2021, will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James House of Prayer Episcopal Church, 2708 North Central Avenue, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Ed. Henley, Presiding. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Prince Albert McKinney was born on March 12, 1936, in Elethra, Bahamas, to the parentage of Maud M. Whyms and Benjamin McKinney.
While he leaves us to cher- ish memories of him, he has gone to glory to be with those who preceded him in death his first wife: Alma Lee Nickerson- McKinney; sons, Demetrius McKinney, Hiram McKinney and James Taylor; daughter, Marie McKinney-Owens; mother, Maud M. Whyms; fa- ther, Benjamin McKinney; brothers, Kenneth Whyms and Patrick McKinney.
