With Saints
Tiger Woods is going to The Players Championship.
The PGA Tour announced Sunday that Woods is sched- uled for a news conference ahead of the PGA Tour’s flag- ship event that starts Thurs- day at TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Citing a neck strain, Woods, 43, withdrew Mon- day from the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which he’s won a record eight times. In two tweets, Woods wrote that his back was fine, and he had been receiving treatment for his neck.
Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is apparently staying put.
The New Orleans Saints are expected to re-sign Bridge- water, who had a bigger pro- posed deal from the Miami Dolphins. The Saints are also expected to sign running back Latavius Murray and let Mark Ingram walk in free agency.
The 26-year-old Bridge- water joined the Saints in Au- gust 2018 via trade from the New York Jets after a short stint in New York.
Bridgewater's decision to remain the backup in New Or- leans surrounded his value on the team's locker room culture and the potential to one day become the Saints' starter. Current starter Drew Brees,

who celebrated his 40th birth- day in January, is set to enter his 19th professional season.
Bridgewater started just one game for the Saints in 2018, the regular-season fi- nale, but had the opportunity to sit behind Brees while learning head coach Sean Payton's offense, two scenar- ios that Bridgewater didn't mind.
TIGER WOODS
Earlier this week, Rory McIlroy said he saw Woods receiving treatment before and after each round in the WGC-Mexico Championship three weeks ago, and that Woods was wearing KT Tape on his upper back.

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving an- nounced on Instagram late Thursday that he’s leaving the NFL, saying he’s prepared to “quit” football unless it loosens its stance on mari- juana to match policies of other professional sports leagues.
“Pass the blunt, bro,” a smiling Irving said into the camera while holding a siz- able joint. “Weed ... you’re ad- dicted to this, and that. I mean, s–t, if I’m going to be addicted to something, I’d
Deal With
Ravens
No NFL player has accu- mulated more tackles as a member of the Carolina Pan- thers than Thomas Davis. His next one will be with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Davis announced Tues- day he is headed west after spending 14 years in teal. The departure comes as no sur- prise as Davis revealed in January that he did not ex- pect to continue in Carolina, despite wanting to. He showed in 2018 that he still has tread on the tires.
After serving a four-game PED suspension, Davis started the remaining 12 and
recorded 79 tackles and had six passes defensed. His 6.5 tackles per game were in line with his averages from his three Pro Bowl seasons (2015-17) and 2015 All-Pro campaign.
The 2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year should up- grade the Chargers' situation at outside linebacker and fig- ures to fit in well with their 4- 3 scheme.
He'll arrive with 1,094 tackles under his belt, includ- ing 28 sacks, with 51 passes defensed, 13 interceptions, 18 forced fumbles and 11 re- coveries.
MARK INGRAM
The Baltimore Ravens are retooling after losing several key players this offseason, and star running back Mark In- gram is the latest to agree to a deal with the team.
Ingram has agreed to a three-year, $15 million deal with Baltimore.
The news of Ingram’s deal came just minutes after it was reported that the Ravens have signed All-Pro safety Earl Thomas to a massive four- year deal.
Ingram, 29, should get a chance to serve as the featured back in Baltimore. It became clear that the New Orleans Saints were moving on from him when they agreed to a deal with Latavius Murray on Tuesday, and Ingram hinted earlier in the offseason that he wanted a chance to not split carries with Alvin Kamara. The former Alabama star will get that with the Ravens.
