Over 150 CEOs Gather To Make An Impact On Local Schools

On Friday, February 19, Tampa Bay Area senior exec- utives volunteered for the day at elementary schools throughout Hillsborough County Public Schools as part of the innovative, educational program — ‘CEOs In Schools.’
Nearly 160 CEOs immersed themselves into an authentic day-in-the-life experience of public school educators and students. Executives shared their business knowledge with the young future work- force, while learning first- hand about the challenges facing our schools.

This program pairs a CEO from the business world with a principal in area schools as mentors. Students are also
invited to business meetings and exposed to the business community.
Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF) is a non- profit focused on strengthen- ing public education by supporting teachers and em- powering students to achieve
academic and personal suc- cess. In light of COVID and tightening funds, teachers and students need commu- nity support from business partners. Business leaders provide expertise, fresh ideas, and key resources to help make the schools, principals,
