Ring Of Honor For Doug Williams
Several of his former teammates with the Bucs and friends from far and near joined Williams and his family on the field at halftime.
Doug Williams’ name and number was unveiled Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. He wore #12 as the quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

2015-2016 Outback Bowl To Feature Northwestern And Tennessee
On Sunday, December 6th, Doug Williams, the former quarterback for the Tampa Bay Bucca- neers, was inducted into the Ring of Honor. He joined several other players whose name and number are seen around Raymond James Stadium.

The Outback Bowl is a New Year’s Day game that features teams from the Southeastern Conference and the Big Ten Conference.
It all started on April 16, 1986 when the NCAA awarded a college bowl game to Tampa. On December 23rd of that year, the first Hall of Fame Bowl was held at Tampa Sta- dium between Georgia and Boston College.
On April 12 1995, the Bowl signed Outback Steakhouse as its title sponsor and changed the name to the Outback Bowl. Twenty years later, Outback is still the title sponsor, making them the longest title sponsor- ship of any current college bowl game.
The bowl contributes more than $123 million combined to universities and has generated an estimated $1 billion in eco- nomic impact for the region over its history.
This year’s matchup will be the Northwestern Wildcats against the Tennessee Volun- teers, with Raymond James Stadium expected to be filled to capacity for the noon kick- off.
Northwestern and Tennessee will feature 13 Florida players between the two teams, with freshman Ray Raulerson (for- merly of Plant High School, #64) playing on the offensive line for the Volunteers.
Activities for the Outback Bowl began May 30th with a Summer Splash, followed by the “Outback Bowl Huddle” on September 24th.

On The Fifty” event was held. December 10th: The De- bartolo contract signing party will be held, followed by the team welcome dinner on De-
cember 26th.
December 27th: There
will be a “Ladies Luncheon” where the spouses of both team’s coaches will enjoy meal hosted by Bonefish Grill. Also on December 27th will be “Players Night,” where the ath- letes will enjoy an evening of fun and games at Splitsville at Channelside.
December 28th: The play- ers will visit Tampa General Hospital’s Children’s Center, then later join the Tampa Bay Lightning, who will be hosting a game at Amalie Arena.
December 29th: The teams will be treated to an evening at Busch Gardens. December 30th: The teams will be gathering on Clearwater Beach. Also on the 30th, there will be a METLIFE/Mercedes- Benz Gridiron Gala;
December 31st: There will be a battle of the bands at Busch Gardens, followed by a New Year’s Eve Parade.
On New Year’s Day, there will be a Mercedes-Benz Cor- porate Tent Village event, fol- lowed by a pre-game bowl bash, and the Tampa General Hospital pre-game show at Raymond James Stadium.
Coca-Cola Zero will host the halftime show to culminate this year’s event.
