Homeless Man Charged With Jewelry Theft From Drake’s Tour Bus
Drake performed at the Talking Stick Arena in Phoenix last week.
PHOENIX, AZ – A homeless man has been arrested after re- portedly stealing around $3 mil- lion worth of jewelry from Drake and Future’s tour bus during a Summer Sixteen show in Phoenix,azfamily.com reports.
Travion Lamar King, 21, was taken into custody by Ari- zona State University campus police for trespassing on school property Wednesday(September 7) when he was discovered to have the briefcase holding the jewels.
He was initially booked for trespassing and police later iden- tified him as the suspect in the theft after watching surveillance footage from Talking Stick Re- sort Arena, the venue where the Drake concert was held. King was then rebooked on a theft charge.
King has worked for various venues in the area and was in possession of a Talking Stick cre- dential upon his arrest, but was not working at the arena the night he reportedly snuck onto Drake and Future’s tour bus to snag the jewels.
Prank Causes Police To Raid Lil Wayne’s House A Second Time
Last 10 Years; Puff Daddy Still #1 Today
Forbes has been a trusted fi- nancial news source for nearly a century (the publication turns 100 next year) but now it’s marking 10 years of tracking Hip Hop’s highest earners with its latest Cash Kings list.
To celebrate the 10th anniver- sary, Forbes looked back at all 10 lists and ranked the overall earners. The top spot goes to Dr. Dre, who earned a re- ported $923 million over the time, thanks in large part to his $3 billion deal for Apple to ac- quire Beats Audio.
For the 10th annual Cash Kings report, the usual rappers make the top of the list.
Puff Daddy sits at #1 with $62 million in earnings for the year, mostly from his deal with Ciroc vodka. Jay Z and Dr. Dre follow at #2 and #3 with reported incomes of $53.5 mil- lion and $41 million respec- tively. Drake lands at #4 with $38.5 million and Wiz Khalifa closes out the Top 5 with $24 million.
Dr. Dre is top earner over 10 years, but Puff Daddy is #1 in 2015-2016.
Kendrick Lamar beats out Kanye West for a spot in the 2016 Cash Kings Top 10. The good kid snags the #9 spot with a reported income of $18.5 mil- lion. Birdman sits between the two with $18 million and a vault holding Tha Carter V. Yeezy lands at #11 with $17.5 million.
A$AP Rocky makes his debut on the list, sitting pretty at #14 with $14.5 million. He was featured on Forbes’ Cash Princes list and has now made his ascension thanks to the suc- cess of his music and work in the fashion world.
Lil Wayne has reportedly fallen victim to yet another swat- ting prank and the rapper is far from pleased.
The latest incident of swatting — where an anonymous person calls the police with a false emer- gency report that results in the victim’s home getting raided — reportedly took place last week at Wayne’s Miami Beach home.
The person responsible for the fake 911 call informed authorities that an unknown man was shot and bleeding at the musician’s residence.
Lil Wayne was sleeping when authorities entered his home a little before 3 P.M. through an unlocked garage door.
A likely frazzled Lil Wayne was cooperative with authorities at first, but later declared “I’m tired of this shit...take me to jail.” As a result, he was handcuffed

and later released when the man who was allegedly shot was not found.
Despite expressing his dis- pleasure earlier on, Wayne re- portedly informed officers that he understood they were just doing their job.
Johnny Depp To Play Investigator In New Biggie & Tupac Movie
Biggie and Tupac were once friends. However, when Tupac got shot 5 times in the studio, he thought Biggie had something to do with it causing the notorious feud. Johnny Depp will portray a detective.
Dame Dash Calls Jay Z And Beyonce ‘Cowards’
Actor Johnny Depp is set to take on the role of late Los An- geles detective Russell Poole in a new film titled Labyrinth.
According to Screen Daily, Labyrinth will take its cue from a nonfiction novel of the same name penned by journalist Randall Sullivan.
The book takes a look at Poole’s investigation into the deaths of The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur and the LAPD scandal surrounding the deaths of the two rappers.
Wednesday (September 7) marked the 20th anniversary of Tupac being shot on the Las Vegas strip. He died from his
wounds six days later. Production for Labyrinth is
scheduled to start later this year. Brad Furman will direct the movie, which will serve as a Good Films production.
Russell Poole passed away a little over one year ago, following a heart attack.
The former detective once theorized that Suge Knight was behind the death of the No- torious B.I.G. Last year, it was revealed that Poole was report- edly prepared to apologize to Knight for attempting to pin Biggie’s death on the former Death Row Records CEO, but passed away before he was able to.
Drake Heist Suspect
Dame Dash has labeled Be- yonce and Jay Z “cowards” for not coming to the defense of Rachel Roy, after the fashion designer and ex-wife to Dame was dragged through the mud when it was assumed that she was “Becky with the good hair.”
“They are cowards. They should have stepped up and said something,” Dame Dash said while speaking with Grazia Daily, according to Daily Mail.
The trouble for Roy quickly began after the release of Bey- once’s LEMONADE track, “Sorry.” On the song, Beyonce croons “He better call Becky with the good hair,” a line that many listeners took to be a dec- laration of Jay Z’s infidelity. Later, the songwriter who penned the line said the whole

controversy was “silly.”
In addition to Rachel Roy
becoming a target to internet trolls, her daughters with Dame were also targeted on so- cial media.
Rachel Roy has since re- leased a statement debunking rumors of a relationship with Jay Z.

Donald Glover has scored the perfect one-two punch this week. Just days after we were calling his Pharos Experience “the most innovative live show of the decade,” here we are again, heaping praise on his new FX television series.
The first episode aired last Tuesday night (September 6) and hit on all of the tones it set out to achieve, at times dream-
