One Church One Child
Are You Looking To Parent Or Mentor?
 Meet ICSIS Age: 14, Child ID#: 102079622
Icsis is a charming young lady who loves to be silly and has a great sense of humor. She is extremely affectionate and loves to make others happy and laugh. She often stands up for others against bullying and has a true heart of gold. Icsis makes friends easily and has worked ex- tremely hard on her confi- dence.
She is a typical teenager who loves social media, hang- ing out with friends, going to the movies, and participating in any activity that celebrates her "goofy" side. She is empa- thetic, compassionate, and an all-around great kid! She is also a very motivated and de- termined young lady and works hard on the goals she sets for herself.
When she grows up, she'd like to be in a field working with youth. Those who know her best feel she would be a great social worker, specifi- cally one who advocates for kids. Icsis is open in regards
to the type of family she is looking for.
All she really wants is un- conditional love, a family who is willing to provide a safe environment, that sup- ports open communication, and one who will provide her with an opportunity to be- come the best version of her- self.

In 1912, Booker T. Washington visited Tampa. It is stated that sev- eral Black families hosted and entertained Washing- ton and his entourage.

Zinober would like to contact any descendants of these individuals, and there may be others not men- tioned, she said.
Brief Synopsis of Each J. Andrew Williams,

who will also be featured in the exhibit, was the owner of Williams Cigar Company. He was a prominent member of the National Negro Business League. Besides providing ci- gars at the dinner following Washington’s speech in Ybor City, he and his wife hosted several members of Washington’s party in their home on Kay St.
Williams’ mother was Mrs. Rachel Williams, who died in July 1915. Her other sons were: David Hendricks, a store owner on Central Ave.; Robert L. Williams, Scott Street Dept. Store owner; William F. Williams, cigar maker, Boltz-Clymer Co.; and Joshua Williams, cigar maker.
Dr. Daniel and Mrs. Rowena Perrin were asked

Atty. C. H. Alston and Inez Alston were also in- volved in the local arrange- ments.
The exhibit will also in- clude Atty. Zachariah
