Nearly 100 Youngsters Participate In ‘Bowling With The Pros’
Life After Sports, Inc., in con- junction with the Tampa Chapter of the NFL (National Football League) Alumni Association and members of the MLB (Major League Baseball) Alumni Associa- tion hosted “Bowling with the Pros,” on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Pin Chasers Bowling Lanes in Tampa.
Ms. America International, Mrs. LaTresa Doleman (2019- 2020) and Back Yard Brawl (BYB) and former MMA fighter, DaDa 5000 were the out of town guest headliners.
By making the bowling alley safe for all those involved, 97 chil- dren from the Lakeland and Tampa Police Athletic League, as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa, the event was comprised of over 200 adults and partici- pants.
The event was put on by Earl Bedford, Founder and President of Life After Sports, Inc., based out
of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Sev- eral local area former athletes who appeared included football play- ers, Dexter Jackson, Dwight Smith, Tyrone Keys and George Selvie. Former Major League Baseball players who par- ticipated included, Ray Burris, Mark Whiten and Carl Everett.
The proceeds from this event were donated to the NFL Alumni Association children charities in the Tampa Bay area, which will go towards a Tiny Tots Flag Football Championship as one of the up- coming Life After Sports events leading up to Super Bowl LV held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
