Building Strong Fami- lies, Inc. will host its 2nd Re- lationship Enrichment Seminar on Saturday, Sep- tember 23, 2017. The semi- nar will be held from 9 a. m.to1p.m.atTampa’s Rusty Pelican Restaurant.
The theme for the 2017 seminar is “When Two Be- come One: Stronger To- gether.” Those in attendance will be pre- sented a numbers of topics. They are: “The Power of Oneness,” “10 Rules for Fighting Fair,” and “Re- store and Reignite: Get It Back and Keep It Alive.”
Music for the seminar will be provided by Steve Williams, a gospel and smooth jazz saxophonist.

A 42-year-old Tampa man was sentenced to serve time in federal prison Tues- day. He entered a guilty plea on February 7, 2017.
U. S. District Judge Mary S. Scriven sen- tenced Weldon Malveau to 3 years. The Court also or- dered him to forfeit a 2010 Porsche Panamera, pur- chased with traceable pro- ceeds of the crime. The Court also entered a money judgment in the amount of $342,563, which are also considered the proceeds of the criminal act.
According to court docu- ments, between January 2011 and March 2012, Malveau was involved in a scheme to file false income tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in order to generate large re- funds that were deposited onto debit cards.
When Malveau was ar- rested in March 2012, he

had 26 debit cards in his possession in the names of different individuals. He also had ledgers containing the names and social secu- rity numbers of others.
The investigation re- vealed that the IRS had re- ceived fraudulent tax returns and had issued $342,563 in refunds in the names of many of those in- dividuals, and the money was traceable to Malveau.
