More Trouble For Rick Ross
Rapper Rick Ross is re- portedly facing a default judge- ment for failing to respond to a lawsuit over a missed perform- ance.
Bosses at Mithraic Group Entertainment sued the Hus- tlin’ hitmaker for breach of contract and unjust enrich- ment earlier this year, claiming they paid him $55,000 to per- form at the University of Texas alongside Meek Mill and Ma- chine Gun Kelly in 2012.
The Mithraic Group Enter- tainment reportedly worked out a deal to pay Ross $110,000 for his set and wired him $55,000 as a deposit.
Meek Mill and Machine Gun Kelly, who are also

named in the lawsuit, received $20,000 and $12,000, respec- tively, according to the legal papers.
Prince and Jay Z
The Jay Z led Tidal stream- ing service pulled a major move in the streaming wars when the platform was able to secure Prince’s extensive catalog.
After the death of the per- former in April, Tidal was standing alone as the only streamer to have access to the icon’s music.
The Prince estate is now suing Jay Z’s Roc Nation for copyright infringement over the exclusive streaming rights given to Tidal.
According to the lawsuit, the estate alleges Tidal was only granted a 90-day streaming ex- clusivity period for Prince’s 2015 album HITNRUN Phase One.
In addition, Tidal reportedly has not attempted to contact Prince’s estate since he passed away.
Roc Nation has filed a petition claiming there were both oral and written agreements be- tween Prince and the com- pany.
There have also been reports Jay offered Prince’s estate $40 million for the rights to his unreleased music.
While Prince was alive, the legendary musician was a big backer of Tidal.
In 2015, the “Purple Rain” singer pulled all his music from other streaming services. Prince also streamed his Fred- die Gray tribute concert from Baltimore on Tidal.
He was supportive of Tidal’s artist-owner business model as well.
Cam’ron and his new sneaker Fleebok 2.
Reebok and Cam’ron team up again after a successful launch of their Purple Haze collab back in August for a new pink suede silhouette called Fleebok 2.
The shoes are expected to be released sometime this month according to Killa Cam and if history is to repeat itself, they’ll more than likely sell out within minutes just like its predeces- sor.
The Harlem fashion trend- setter previewed the Fleebok 2s
on his Instagram. The kicks will come in a camouflage box with the Dipset logo appropri- ately stamped atop. He also showed off a pair of matching pink Stance socks.
The suede pair of Reebok Classics has the Dipset logo embossed on the heel of the sneaker and is complemented by pink camouflage laces and gum bottom.
The shoes are expected to re- tail for $160. Just in time for Christmas.
Rae Sremmurd Reveals Their Favorite ‘Mannequin Challenge’
As the creators of “Black Bea- tles,” the song that serves as the soundtrack to the Mannequin Challenge, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi of Rae Srem- murd recently shared their fa- vorite versions of the viral sensation with TMZ.
A Mannequin Challenge from living legend Paul McCart- ney topped the list, with Swae Lee revealing that it served as “the ultimate cosign” from the Beatles musician.
Other notable challenges for the rapping duo included a de- livery room-inspired challenge from Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian, and one from the First Lady.
“I really liked the one with Blac Chyna and Rob Kar- dashian. I like Michelle Obama. Shout out to Michelle Obama. Paul Mc- Cartney’s was awesome. It was so many. I probably haven’t seen all of ’em,” Slim
Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd say Paul Mc- Cartney’s Mannequin Chal- lenge is one of their favorites.
Jxmmy said.
It was destined to happen
and Rae Sremmurd did as predicted. The duo’s “Black Beatles” rocketed from No. 9 to No. 1, assuredly thanks to their viral Mannequin Challenge videos.
“Black Beatles” is the top- selling and also the most- streamed song of the week.
Future To Host 4th Annual Gala To ‘Give Thanks’
To celebrate all he is thank- ful for, Future is holding the fourth annual “Golden Wishes” gala in his hometown of At- lanta this Thanksgiving.
The event, sponsored by Fu- ture’s FreeWishes Founda- tion, is set to go down Saturday (November 19) and host local senior citizens. The attendees will be treated to live music and a DJ and “will be gifted the makings for a perfect holiday meal of southern comforts.” Mmmm. Also, two senior citi- zens will be honored for their impact on the city.
Last year, Snoop Dogg and Chris Brown shared the Thanksgiving spirit by giving away turkeys to local commu- nities.
