Gospel singer Kim Bur- rell’s downfall reaches a new low. Not only has she suffered the cancellation of her “Bridging the Gap” radio show and now the perform- ing rights organization BMI has announced her removal from their annual BMI Trail- blazers of Gospel Music cele- bration scheduled for Jan. 14 in Atlanta.
TV host Ellen DeGeneres also uninvited Burrell from appearing on her show, in- sisting “I don’t know her” but she was “talking about me.”

The latest record the Toronto rap superstar has shattered is for the highest- grossing Hip Hop tour for his Summer Sixteen Tour with Future.
Drake grossed $84.3 mil- lion over 56 shows in 38 cities between July 20 and October 8, according to num- bers from Pollstar. The aver- age show on the tour drew a crowd of 19,793 fans who paid an average ticket price of $112.08. In total, there were 752,141 tickets sold.

Armstrong State University in Savannah, Ga. is offering an high-level English course called “OutKast and the Rise of the Hip-Hop South.”
The course will focus on Outkast songs and lyrics and draw parallels to the C i v i l	Rights	Movement, Black Lives Matter and social activism in general. Students
