Navy Seaman Recruit, Kee- lan Young just completed Basic Training at Recruit Train- ing Command in Great Lakes, IL. He graduated June 2015 from Spoto High School in Riverview, FL, then joined the Navy in Sept. 2015 and gradu- ated from Basic Training Nov. 13, 2015. Keelan is the son of proud parents, Bryant and April Young and the grandson of Aaron and Ernestine Trice in Progress Village.
Congratulations to Anthony Simon! He won 3rd place in the 5th grade Essay Contest held at the 78th Street Community Library 0n Nov. 9th. His essay was about his role model, his uncle, Coach Ted McNair. He won a laptop from Rent King. Anthony is a 5th grader at Clair Mel Elementary.
