Award-winning artist, Deborah Rodriguez returns to Gallery on the Avenue with her new collection of photographs, “America the Beautiful.” Rodriguez describes America through her subjects’ faces – Americans living in kindness, and sharing with a willing and giving heart. “America the Beautiful” will be on exhibit from Monday, January 6, to Thursday, January 30. Please go out to visit – just a few days remain.

Expressions Of Sympathy
The Village has felt the loss of 3 this week. We send our prayers and condolences during your time of loss to the family of Mr. William R. Johnson (aka BJ), who passed on Friday, 1/17. He was a longtime resident of Progress Village, retiree of Hillsborough County, having provided maintenance for 3 golf courses in the county.
Condolences also ex- tended to the family of Tommy Bell, a longtime member of the community. As a little boy he was featured in the first advertisement of Progress Village along with his family in the early 60s.
Prayers and condolences also to the family of Harold Williams. Mr. Williams played a major role in the de- velopment of our youth
through the Progress Village football and baseball organi- zation for many years.
