The Refuse To Lose Youth Summit, Saving Our Youth!!!

On Tuesday July 18th, the Executive Director of the Police Athletic League (PAL) Program, Tim Abram, City Commis- sioner for the City of Lakeland, Phillip Walker and City of Lakeland Gang Task Force Member, Dr. Shandale Terrell, at- tended the City of Lakeland Gang Task Force Annual “Refuse To Lose Youth Summit” at the Lake Mirror Complex in Lakeland.
More than 400 youth attended and participated in the sum- mer “Refuse To Lose Youth Summit” from various mentoring youth programs, which were the following: Police Athletic League (PAL) Program, the RISK CLUB Program, PACE Center for Girls, Inc., and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
The Refuse To Lose Youth Summit aims to save the lives of young adults from gang violence.
