The award-win- ning actress is reportedly set to star in the new action film, Proud Mary as a sexy assassin with a ton of high-powered weapons.

Houston, Texas rap legend Z-RO may have retired, and he is already spending a por- tion of his time behind bars.
According to reports, Z-RO has been charged with beating his ex-girlfriend, for over two- hours straight.

Quincy Jones Awarded $9.4 Million In Michael Jackson Royalty Suit
According to Billboard. com, Quincy Jones who produced Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad was calm and cool on Wednes- day (July 26) as a Los Angeles courtroom jury awarded him $9.4 million in the trial against Michael Jackson's estate, claiming he was cheated out of royalties after the King of Pop died in 2009.

Bill Cosby will be going back on trial in November, however his lawyer Brian McMonagle has quit.
Awaiting his sexual assault retrial, Bill Cosby is on the hunt for a new attorney after lawyer Brian McMonagle suddenly called it quits this week.
According to RadarOn- line.com, Cosby was livid after McMonagle announced his resignation.
“Brian cares, but he’s not going to continue to put his
stellar reputation on the line if there’s no cooperation from his client and his client’s publicist,” a source said.
The disgraced comedian even demanded everyone in his inner circle “shut up” and not speak to the press any longer. Radar Online also claims Cosby’s devoted publicist, Andrew Wyatt, as the reason behind McMonagle’s exit.

Issa Rae, writer and star of Insecure and Yara Shahidi of black-ish will be honored.
Taraji P. Henson has been tapped to host BET’s 2017 Black Girls Rock Awards honoring “Insecure” creator, writer and star Issa Rae, “Black-ish” star Yara Shahidi and others.
The ceremony will take
place on Aug. 5 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Cen- ter in Newark.
Rae is set to receive the Star Power Award while ac- tress/activist Shahidi will take home the Young Gifted and Black honor.
