    Start Living Life Today
“The life you desire to have begins when you start living it.”
–Selphenia Nichols Simmons
Empowered Greet- ings. I want to ask you a question. What are you wait- ing for? What are you wait- ing for to start living and stop existing?
What are you waiting for to maximize your potential? What are you waiting for to be all that you can be? What are you waiting for to live life to the fullest?
If you are like most peo- ple, you have buried dreams down on the inside of you.
You have hopes that were once flames of fire but have been reduced to smoldering ashes. There are things you desire to do, places you de- sire to go and experiences you desire to have.
Again I ask, “What are you waiting for?”
The rationale of your fi- nite mind says that you are waiting for the right time. You have been postponing and procrastinating living your best life...just to wait.
When you were younger you were waiting until you were older. Now you’re older, you think you’re too old. When you were single you were waiting until you get married. Now you’re
married all your time is de- voted to your spouse.
Maybe you were waiting until you have children. Now that you have them, you’re waiting until they are grown and gone. Maybe, you’re waiting on the right career.
When you get that you’ll be too busy climbing the lad- der of success; then you’ll find yourself waiting until you retire. What are you waiting for?
There will always be a reason why should wait. Pro- crastination can kill a dream. Begin to focus on the reasons why you can’t wait and start living life today.

Robert Mueller: ‘I Just Work Here’
nd what did we expect Robert Mueller to say . . .
“Read my lips?” Reading and re-reading his 400- page dissertation regarding the blatant im- broglios of a “don’t give a darn” Commander-In-Chief to an over-zealous and green-behind-the-ears largely, Democratic Party cross examiners, the lone Special Counsel for the Department of Justice, wearing an off-the-rack buttoned-down suit with accountant- lensed eye glasses, said what any well-seasoned, fairly well-paid bureaucrat would say in his position, “Read my report. I just work here.”
But he would – or at least, the Democratic Party – expect Super Man. What they got, however, was not J. Edgar Hoover, nor Dick Tracy, but an obviously weary Clark Kent who had made up his mind not to be anybody’s Christ figure to be hanged on a partisan political cross.
And why not? After leaving a report with more bread crumbs than a crow could follow as to both complicity and duplicity on the biggest presidential heist in the history of politics, why should Mueller further paint a picture that has used all the colors of the rainbow?
Instead, he responded to questions and accusa- tions in his best school-teacher demeanor, and when he was through, he picked up his brief case and went home.
What will History say about Robert Mueller? It will simply admit, he earned his gold watch.
We Are One Step From Being Homeless
   here is a major
concern that is being discussed among community and political leaders right now. That concern is homelessness. Every day, I’m seeing more and more law-abiding, hard- working homeless citi- zens due to a lack of affordable housing.
There needs to be a more visible and positive forward solution pre- sented by the majority
rule Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate.
Homelessness is de- fined as, living in a place not meant for human habitation or a facility that doesn’t have four walls, nor a roof over a person or persons head. The cause of homelessness can be rooted in a tragic loss of a loved one, job loss, do- mestic violence, divorce, or family disputes.
In the United States, there are 3 million plus families and individual citizens living in a state of homelessness. In ad- dition to the state of Florida, there are thou- sands of youth homeless that are living in our community. I remind you, these young people attend our K-12 Schools in the state of Florida.
As a collective group and community, we have to find help and a way to put our fellow men and women back to work, in order for them to live productively. Why? Homelessness does not discriminate against anyone. The reality is every hardworking citi- zen is one step from being homeless.
