District Releases Guidelines For Free Or Reduced Meals
The Hillsborough County Public School District is accepting applications for free or reduced lunch. The price of the meals is determined by the family’s income and family size.
Through the National School Breakfast Program, all students are eligible to receive free breakfast, regard- less of their family’s household income.
In order for students to receive free or reduced lunceh, a new application must be completed each year. Children from families whose income is at or below the designated levels are eligible for free or reduced price meals. The 2018-2019 household applica- tion for school meal benefits is available online.
To apply, visit the District’s website at www.sdhc.k12.fl.us, type “Go SNS” in the search bar and follow instructions.
The information provided on the application is confidential and will be used for the purpose of determining eligibility. The information may also be used by the school system in determin- ing whether the child is eligible for other educational programs.
Applications may be submitted at any time during the year. If a child moves from one Hillsborough County public school to another in the same year, parents do not need to submit a new application.
