87 Cartons Of Cigarettes Stolen From Store
Police are searching for three men in connection with the theft of cigarettes. The theft took place around 11 p.m., Tuesday.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, the three men entered the 7- 11, 8305 W. Hillsborough Av- enue. Once inside, the men jumped the counter and
grabbed 87 cartons of various brands of cigarettes and fled the store on foot. The ciga- rettes are valued at $5,655.
After taking the cigarettes, the men fled the scene on foot, running north on Webb Road. The men are described as Black men, between the ages of 18 and 21 years of age.

Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the identity and ar- rest of the suspects.

School Officials Welcome Students Back On First Day
Superintendent Jeff Eakins, School Board Chair Sally Harris, other members, and officials of the Hillsborough County School District have planned to visit schools on the first day, Friday, August 10.
More than 212,000 students are expected to fill classrooms across the district. The theme for this school year is “We Climb Together.”
Every elementary school will have an officer on campus from the first day of school. While the district continues to hire and train school security officers, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Tampa Police Department and Plant City Police Department will place their deputies and officers on school campuses.
