Message from the CEO
Little did I know in 1988 where the Ei journey would take me; when in the midst of severe Irish and worldwide recessions I concluded the successful management buyout of General Electric’s manufacturing business in Shannon.
This marked the beginning of what was to become an exciting and challenging journey which has brought us to where we are today.
My aim at the outset was to maintain valuable manufacturing jobs in Shannon, and build a successful and sustainable international business.
Our success is a tribute to the dedication of very many people over several decades, built on a strong culture of loyalty, respect, commitment and long service.
I am particularly proud of the fact that over the years we have made a valuable contribution to our local community and this region, making it a better place to live and work for the current and future generations..
