Franchise Summary Franchise Agreement
Five-year term, renewable for a further five years. A nominal R5000 fee is payable to renew the licence.
Franchise Package Fee*
£22,000 plus R3,300 VAT.
Intent to Proceed Deposit**
Intent to Proceed is confirmed through a deposit of R5,000, leaving a balance for the Franchise Package of R17,000 plus R3,300 VAT to be paid when the Franchise Legal Agreement is signed.
Management Service Fee
Set at 10% of monthly turnover. This is only payable from Month 7, following your six month launch phase, and is subject to a minimum monthly fee in line with franchise option chosen.
Local Marketing Commitment
Anticipated at 5% + VAT of gross turnover net of VAT, at the discretion of the franchisee
National Marketing Levy
Two percent (2%) of net turnover is payable to the Franchisor and will be put into a National Marketing Fund. It will be used to promote the Business Doctors
brand nationally and regionally.
Franchise Licence
This permits you to trade under the name & style of “Business Doctors” in a designated territory.
Operations Manual
The Operations Manual is on loan to the Franchise Owner during the period of the Agreement. As and when the Operations Manual is updated, it is the responsibility of the Franchise Owner to ensure that updates are inserted in the Manual and that supersed- ed pages are filed separately.
Induction Training
Training to cover operations, marketing, sales and business administration will be provided over 9 work- ing days (hotel accommodation provided for the 8 day residential elements). See page 19 for details.
Launch and In-Field Support & Development
To facilitate the establishment of a new Business Doctors Franchise Business, the Franchise Team and/ or Regional Director will provide 6 days co-pilot sup- port. This will seamlessly assist with the delivery of Seminars, Free Health Checks Meetings, Strategic Reviews and other client services. In addition, regular review meetings, mentoring support and guidance will be provided throughout the 6 month launch phase.
Website Presence
Business Doctors Franchising Limited will provide a web presence for all of its Franchise Owners. Access to the Business Doctors SharePoint, Content Manage- ment System, and Email Marketing System.
* All fees and terms are subject to change, prior to the award of the Franchise, at the discretion of the Franchisor.
** The Intent to Proceed Deposit reserves the intended location for an agreed period after which time, if the Franchise Legal Agreement is not signed, the
Franchisor has the right to cancel.
