Advantages of Pre Planning
This is why it is so important to place your wishes on permanent record with us. Helping each other as spouses can lend itself to peace of mind that you have helped one another make the choices you wish and eliminating doubt of what one another wanted done.
Doing your prearrangements also makes your children or other next of kin know that there is no guilt to be associated with style of services selected. Without undue stress and worry, family can focus in on setting up other details for a proper “Celebration of Life” or other Shivah preparations.
Financially, it is smart to control your spending. Some families choose to spend a certain way for funerals some choose to not select other items. Either way it is a way to “lock in” on today’s funeral home’s out of pocket expenses and block out inflation.

Before a Death Occurs
Before a death occurs, the order in which things need to be done often depends on where the death occurred. But, one thing should always be remembered: your heightened emotional state upon the death of a loved one. That’s why we suggest that you ask a friend for help - someone who is more able to think clearly, and give you the support you need years ahead of time.
At Home or at Work
When a death occurs at home or in the workplace, a family member or co-worker should contact emergency personnel and the person’s physician if he or she was under a doctor’s care. If the death occurs
