Vendors
As a fully customizable venue, the John M.S. Lecky UBC Boathouse permits any vendors to be brought into the space. We do highly recommend our team of Preferred Vendors as these vendors have outstanding client service and know the venue well. These vendors are experts at ensuring your wedding day runs seamlessly.
Preferred Caterers
We like to offer you variety when it comes to menu and service style choices. Instead of having one in house caterer, we work with a selection of caterers on our Preferred Vendors list that know the space and know great food. These caterers cover a variety of price points and menu styles and are great at working with any budget.
Bar and Beverage Services
The John M.S. Lecky UBC Boathouse is not a liquor establishment. A single-day Special Event Liquor License must be obtained and on-site with a licensed server for each event with alcohol. This can be obtained individually or through a full-service caterer. No corkage fees are charged.
Tent structures
Tent structures for the lower dock or waterfront patio may be rented at an additional charge. Tents are only permitted on-site if arranged directly through the UBC Boathouse and are subject to availability. Please inquire for tent options, availability and rates.
