Wedding Breakfast Menu
Set Menu (Birdie & Eagle Packages) - Please choose 1 option from each course from the choices below. For a choice menu - We can offer a choice of three starters, main courses & desserts to your guests at a surcharge of £2 per person (At least one starter & one main course to be vegetarian). All guests must pre-select and please advise us of your choices, with table breakdowns, at least one month prior to your wedding. This option is available for up to 90 guests. Any special dietary requirements will be catered to if advised in advance. Homemade bread roll & butter served prior to dinner service.
Starters
Chef ’s homemade soup with herbed croutons
Choice of carrot & coriander, broccoli & stilton, cream of leek & potato, tomato & basil or winter vegetable
Smooth chicken liver & brandy pate, toasted ciabatta & westmorland chutney Chicken and ham hock terrine with Cumberland sauce, toasted ciabatta, Fresh melon with fruit sorbet & coulis
Main Course
Daube of beef with yorkshire pudding - slow cooked Cumbrian beef with a rich gravy Supreme of local chicken breast with wild mushroom, shallot & madeira sauce
Roast loin of pork, sage & onion stuffing and apple sauce
Roast turkey breast with pork chipolata, apricot & chestnut stuffing, cranberry sauce & roasting gravy (All main courses served with roast potatoes & seasonal vegetables)
Dessert
Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce, fresh cream Warm Chocolate Brownie with hot chocolate sauce, fresh cream Vanilla Créme Brulée, homemade shortbread biscuit Lemon & Ginger cheesecake with fruit coulis
