Families are happy when they know we will take care of all the details to honor their loved one. We strive to honor your loved one for a day of remembrance. We pay particular attention to detail, we would like to treat you and your loved one as a member of our family.
We will guide you through all decisions of the care of your loved one and the service. Our expertise is in cremation with or without a service, traditional funerals and military funeral service at a local military cemetery, funeral costs, register book and online obituary. We encourage pictures for a slide presentation, poster boards, memorabilia of your loved one and a zoom presentation. We can accommodate services at our funeral home, churches or other venues with or without your clergy or our clergy or a celebrant.
The funeral service is an important point of closure for those who have lost a loved one, the beginning of this can be the beginning of mourning. We answer our phones personally not with an answering service so we can personally serve you.

Founder / Funeral Director
Robert (Bob)Weir Sr, served in the Army then graduated from Eckles School of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia and was the owner of a funeral home from 1950 until his death in 1991. He served as the coroner in Lehigh County from 1963-1988. Bob was known to console families with his professionalism and compassion. He was very caring and compassionate with families dealing with any death including children and suicides. He was known to be prompt in arriving at the scene of the accidents on highways so the traffic could resume and the person could be removed to the funeral home. He continued with his compassion towards families throughout his lifetime understanding the importance of a grieving family.
Bob and his wife, Mary (Milchanowski) were offered St Catharine’s rectory at 18th & Turner Sts. by Msgr. Mc Mullan in 1957. Bob and his wife purchased the property and the renovations began. Demolishing the walls began for the new viewing rooms. The rear porch was removed and the basement dirt floor was prepared for concrete. After Bob and Mary completed the painting and wallpapering which was a family event, the funeral home was then ready. Bob was always designing a new project for the home.
