We ensure all Veterans get the recognition they deserve
John R. “Jack” Zalewski, a two year United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War along with George Rocco Seminara Jr., a twelve year United States Marine Corps Combat veteran of the Persian Gulf War, ensures all veterans receive military reverence for their faithful sacrifices to our country.
Jack has always honored the veterans and their families he’s served by setting up a veteran memorial display at each viewing/ visitation honoring their respective branch of serviceand all veterans who have served. A Military Honor Guard is arranged for every veteran who qualifies with honorable discharge paperwork (unless declined by their family) as well as obtaining a government issued burial flag.
Additionally, the veteran’s funeral procession is led by our hearse adorned with two American flags and emblems representing their branch of service. Every vehicle in the funeral procession also adorns an American flag. This helps to identify the entire procession. The flags are then kept by the driver of each vehicle in memory of their loved ones service to the United States of America. Jack stated, ““Our staff has always felt that most people do not notice the American flag draped over the casket in the hearse. So we wanted to do something more noticeable. Something that would alert everyone that a veteran, one who has sacrificed so much for so many, has died. This helps draw attention to the
funeral procession but more importantly gives the veteran and their family the recognition and respect they deserve.”
Our dedication to the families we serve does not end when the funeral disposition is completed. We provide a veteran grave flag and marker, guide and assist you in obtaining a military government grave marker or mausoleum crypt/niche emblem (when applicable), and assist in obtaining a flag case to honor your loved one. Your loved ones final place of rest can easily be identified as that of one who unselfishly served our great nation.
