Wedding Ceremony
What could be more convenient than having your wedding ceremony and reception at the same location? All wedding rentals at Stony Point Hall include our outdoor ceremony space with gazebo and white chairs. The space is set off with a beautiful flagstone path that has two entrances directly from the hall.
The backdrop for your ceremony is the South wall of the gorgeous Vinland Valley. It is heavily forested with a variety of trees and wraps around the property for a comforting, private feel. River birches and willow trees backing up the gazebo set off the scene for the valley backdrop. And an interesting bit of local historic for you – the old Santa Fe Trail actually runs along the ridge of that South valley wall!
Our Gazebo offers a raised wood platform so your guests can see all the action. It’s large enough for you, your officiant and decorations, a small table for special activities like a unity candle, and even a singer or two! You can decorate it to your heart’s desire to frame those special photos and set off the beginning of a life together.
We use the same white, folding wedding chairs for the ceremony that we use inside for the reception. We will set them up for you in any arrangement you like. The most popular is semi-circular rows that make the gazebo (and the lucky couple standing in it!) the focus of everyone seated in the area.
