Flowers are a beautiful complement to your wedding day; from small and elegant arrangements to spectacular focal displays for your reception.
The color scheme is very important so your florist knows which shades to work with, but if you’re undecided it’s a good idea to begin deciding on shapes and sizes you will need so your florist has an idea where to begin designing. If you do have a color scheme in mind then take some swatches or photos to show your florist what you are thinking.
Take into account the style of your wedding, vintage, sophisticated, rustic, country - make sure the flowers suit the wedding theme.
After deciding how many bouquets, corsages and posies you need for the wedding party, think about floral displays for the venue. If you are having the reception and ceremony at separate locations consider taking the flowers with you as you move to the reception to get the most out of them. Any bridesmaids’ posies could be re-used as table displays when placed into vases. Be careful with your planning and get the best value possible.
