Q. Does my wedding need to be catered by Plantation Bay?
A. With the exception of your wedding cake, all food and beverage must be catered by Plantation Bay. No food or beverage may be taken off property or brought in.
Q. Can a tasting time be set up for us to try some of the menu items?
A. Yes! It is complimentary for the
bride and groom. Keep in mind that some items will not be available for
the tasting because our executive chef cannot create them on a small scale.
Q. What is the deposit amount?
A. To secure your date we require a deposit of $1,500, which may be made in three payments.
Q. What is the capacity for your venue?
A. Our main space will accommodate 50-150 guests comfortably.
Q. Is there a maximum time that we have the space for?
A. Yes – Banquets may last up to 5 hours. This does not include on-site ceremonies.
Q. Are there overnight accommodations for our guests?
A. Hotel accommodations are available within 5 miles from our venue.
Q. Do you have special pricing for children or children’s menus?
A. Yes, we do offer special pricing for children under age 10. Your Event Coordinator will go over the specific details with you.
Q. What does the room rental fee cover?
A. The room rental fee covers the set up needed before and the break down after an event, house linens and napkins, use of mirrors for centerpieces.
Q. What if I would like an item that I do not see offered on your menu or if I have vegetarian/vegan/special dietary guests?
A. The menu is just a sampling of what we can do here at Planation Bay and we certainly can accommodate guests with dietary needs.
