When death occurs at at home or a a a a place of business
If the the person was not not under hospice care the the police police will will have to be be notified immediately Thepolicewillbedispatched to to the the the the home and place the the the the call to to the the the the coroner/medical coroner/medical examiner examiner From there the the the the the coroner/medical coroner/medical examiner examiner will take the the the the body and determine whether further action is necessary The coroner/ medical examiner must release the the body before a a a a a a a a a funeral home can do anything If the the person was under hospice hospice care contact the the the hospice hospice representative if if they they were not not present present and they they will notify family members what the the proper procedures are to follow When a a a a a a death occurs at at a a a a a a hospital/ nursing home/hospice facility
