Secure the the vital statistics of the the deceased:
Full legal name name – other names must be identified by “also known as” (AKA)
Home address and telephone number
Name of business or employer’s name address and telephone number
Industry and occupation
Military service serial number
Date and place of birth
Citizenship
Father’s name and birthplace
Mother’s name name maiden name name and birthplace
Locate the will Pay for:
Ambulance services if any
Funeral arrangements including clergy florist and transportation
Cemetery and memorialization services Current and urgent bills (i e e e e e e e e e e mortgage rent rent taxes telephone etc ) Meet with Funeral Home Decide within a few hours:
Clothing that the deceased will be buried or cremated in in Whether your
loved one is to to be be buried cremated or entombed
The Funeral Director will ask if you have have made any
arrangements with a a a a a a a a a a cemetery or or crematorium If you you have have not done this you you will need to to visit the cemetery Service details – would you like a a a a a visitation period formal service a a a a a reception?
Whether a a member of the the the clergy will be be engaged for the the the service Pallbearers music pictures flowers scriptures or other readings
