Indonesian Recipe Page Babi Rica Rica (Spicy Pork)
Your Starter Chopping Board
Finely slice shallot onions, ginger and garlic cloves.
Add chopped chillies, Sambal Oelek and Kecap Manis. Stir all of them until well mixed.
Fry shallot onions, ginger and garlic in a in hot oil in a wok / pan.
Gradually add sugar until happy with sweetness of the sauce. Add the corn flour mix to thicken sauce.
Add strips of pork and stir fry until .lightly brown on outside
Serve with white rice, garnish with spring onions - extra chillies would be an optional extra “hot choice!

INGREDIENTS
Kilo of pork fillet (sliced into strips) 4 Shallot onions (finely sliced)
2 Garlic cloves (finely diced)
1 thumb-sized fresh ginger (finely sliced) 1 or 2 small red chillies (cabe rawit)
1 tablespoon Sambal Oelek
White sugar - to sweeten sauce
2 table spoons corn or olive oil
4 table spoons Kecap Manis (sweet soya sauce)
2 teaspoons of corn flour (mixed with a little water)
