Somewhere along the line...Someone told us that all we had to do was dream big and everything would fall into place...
I often wonder how many Micheal Jackson's , Jordans and Johnsons or Kamalas, Serenas and Violas , there really were, Who chose to quit when it became too difficult, too hard , too time consuming, too... Fill in the blank...
None of it is easy...Not your dream , not the work needed to become adequate and definitely not the effort needed to move beyond what got you "here" ...wherever "here" is for each of us..
But neither is having , to forever battle that "What-If" gremlin, waiting on each of us, as we get older...
We all know that future version of us at reunions, on corners or in passing conversations , older, bitter and resentful of the lost moments and opportunities that could have been... had they just chosen to just take a chance...
As I write this, the fourth incarnation of LuxeFactor's launch ... I challenge each of you to push harder and
if you've stopped dreaming, start again...
Because what they left out of the conversation is that , it's never been about reaching the goal, it's always been about who you become when you strive daily to be better than you were the day before... whether that goal is slam dunking from half court or the work needed to be the first in your family to graduate from college...
The dream is free... The hustle is what cost...
Make it Happen...
