Teen CEO:
Teens Creating Economic Opportunity (Teen C.E.O.), funded by C.S. Mott Foundation.
The program is available as a Year –Round.
The 16-week After-School program is an expansion of our summer program is held at the Reginal Technology Center on Mott’s Main campus. The 16 week program is for youth, ages 14-24, runs from October through June. Students meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3:00
pm until 6:00 pm. The program allows student an opportunity to take a business idea and develop it into a business plan. Students will also network with local business professionals for mentoring and will go on talent tours.
The program provides Genesee County youth
the opportunity to take a business idea and develop it into a business plan. The program focuses on entrepreneurial skills, abilities and attitudes; and prepares participants for what is required to become a part of this new economy. Participants will also network with local business professionals for mentoring and job shadowing experiences.
A “Showcase” event as well as a midterm Shark Tank event will give the participants an opportunity to display their businesses to friends, family, area business owners and the community. At the conclusion of the program, participants will have an understanding of what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur and have the potential to receive seed money to start their business.

• Dependability
Eligibility Requirements:
• 14-24 years old
• Live in Genesee County
• Attend Flint Schools or Alternative Schools
• Parent or Guardian must accompany youth to mandatory orientation
