Accelerated Welding
This accelerated program is designed to impart useful
state-of-the-art skills in the shortest possible timeframe. In
this 250-hour program, students will ldearn welding skills
including Basic Metal Preparation (80) and Gas Metal Arc
Welding (80) and Work Life Sills (10).

Electric Lineworker Pre-Apprenticeship
Training Program
The EMPOWER Lineworker program provides intense
instruction from highly skilled journey-level lineworkers,
who have many years of field experience. This pre-
apprenticeship program offers hands-on classroom and
field instruction directly related to working with electrical
lines.

Public Works Academy
The Public Works Academy is designed to develop a
hands-on, active learning experience that prepares people
for great careers and opportunities in public works through
partnerships with the City of Grand Blanc, the Genesee
County Road Commission, and the City of Saginaw. Public
works employees are vitally important in our communities,
and in great demand across Flint and Genesee County.

Electric Vehicle Technician
NEW!
The Electric Vehicle Technician Certificate Program is
intended to address a global need for people who are
skilled in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing high voltage
EVs and commercial charging stations. The program
has been developed for adult learners pursuing training
through independent study, specifically students interested
in improving their technical knowledge to diagnose, service
and repair high voltage EVs and install, design and maintain
residential or commercial charging stations.

ADVANCE MANUFACTURING
Machinist CNC Training
This accelerated course will teach useful state-of-the-art
skills in the shortest possible timeframe. The Machinist
course will introduce and expose participants to the field
of machine technology and is delivered in a two-stage
process. Course elements of Stage 1 include OSHA, Pre-
apprentice skills 1, Blueprint Reading, Machining and
Metrology. Course elements of Stage 2 include Precision
Machining, CNC Lathe and Mill, Mastercam and Work Life
Skills. This course is a total of 376 hours.

ROBOTICS
Multi-Skilled Robotics
Multi-Skilled Robotics program is a fast-track curriculum
designed to provide graduates with basic skills and
knowledge needed for careers in control systems, industrial
automation, work cell development and robotics. Students
who pass the qualifications will earn an industry recognized
FANUC Certification. The program consists of 252-hours of
training and education.
