STRATEGIC PRIORITIES AND GOALS
Through the fall of 2018, the Strategic Planning Committee began looking at the best areas of strategic focus for the 2019-2022 planning cycle. It is critical to understand that the listed goals represent targeted strategies to further enhance the work of FGLN, and in no way indicate a change of direction from the foundational mandate of the network — which is to provide coordination and collaboration opportunities for the network partners.
The proposed areas of strategic focus were first developed by the Strategic Planning Committee, and these proposed directions were brought to the Steering Committee at a one-day meeting in October, 2018. The Steering Committee made suggestions for revision, and the Planning Committee then created the final version of the priorities and goals laid out below.
A full version of Priorities, Goals, Measurements, and Actions can be found in Appendix 5. The following pages lay out a high-level summary of the strategic plans for the network.
