 Our Purpose
Friends of Augusta Savage Arts & Community Center, Inc., (FASACC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to:
• Create awareness of the center by enriching the lives of members of the community through educationl, health & wellness, and cultural events and programs.
• Advocate for public support and funding to sustain current and future community programs.
• Promote local history by keeping Augusta’s life and legacy alive.
• Prepare for future enhancements and growth of the Augusta Savage Arts & Community Center.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote programs for youth and families to improve their quality of life. Our emphasis is on the “Underserved” in Green Cove Springs and neighboring communities.
Our Vision
Friends of Augusta Savage, Inc. (FASACC) advocates programs to inspire healthy, productive, creative lives; today, tomorrow, and into the future.
How to Get Involved
If you are an organization,
business, or individual looking to get involved, there are many ways
you can help support
our mission.
• Financial donations allow us to provide art, ballet, tap, jazz, and cheerleading classes to the underserved youth in the community.
• Support the launching of our new Artist in Residence Program
• Donation of new children’s clothes, shoes, and personal hygiene items for Augusta’s Clothes Closet.
• Sponsor a costume for one or more children for our end of year Christmas Production.
• Help the volunteer committee with fundraising events and other activities.
• Host a fundraising event.
• Be an event volunteer for Friends of Augusta Savage special events.

Fine Arts
        Augusta Savage Community Clothes Closet
Located in Charles E. Bennett Elementary School, we providing new clothes, shoes, and personal items to students who are at risk of failure and living at or near the poverty level.
