My King
On October 21, 2017; I married the man of my dreams and the love of my life. Mr. Patrick Donald Tyus.
I Corinthians 13:4-8 says: Love is patient and kind; Love does not envy or boast. It is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong-doing but rejoices with truth. Love bears
all things; endures all things. Love never ends.
Patrick was kind to me. Patrick was patient with me. And we celebrated each other. He was my King
and I was his Queen. There was nothing too great that together we could not conquer. Not even
cancer. We faced it together—because we believed Matthew 19:6: “What God has put together let no man put asunder”. We believed we were no longer two but one.
So cancer did not separate us...but made us
stronger together. It made me more bone of his
bone. And him more flesh of my flesh. We recognized that our time on this side was limited but our love was not.
He is in my smile. He is in my style. He is in my heart—never to depart. Love never ends.
You are the love of my life!
