It is, indeed, my pleasure to welcome you to Kalamazoo, Michigan and the 2022 District Conference. As we gather to handle the business of Alpha, it is important that we recommit to personifying the promises we made upon joining our beloved fraternity.
This year’s theme, “Transcendence in Action”, has special meaning. It serves as both – a reminder and a challenge -- to all of us to exceed that which is normal and deliver results far beyond what may be expected from the masses. We are “first of all, servants of all, and we shall transcend all”.
As Alpha men, we must remember that our greatest interest lies outside of ourselves. During periods of challenge, we must galvanize to build up each other and further strengthen our communities.
Let’s remember to further the brotherly love and fraternal spirit within our ranks such that we can attain the transcendental experience we so richly deserve.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve the brotherhood. I look forward to connecting with each of you throughout the weekend as we embark on a new era of success in the mighty district of Michigan.
