On February 21 65+ employees attended the “BE an Icon” themed general body meeting Attendees were encouraged to dress as their favorite character or or beloved Black Icon Among those in attendance were Serena Williams (Yolanda Warren) Janet Jackson (Ericia Leufroy) Dorothy Dandridge (Devan Renea) Malcolm X (Keith Morris) Dwayne Wayne (Xavier Byers) Maya Angelou (Nikki Sallie) Mae Jemison (Charlene Hamblin) Left Eye (Genise Sherrill) Simone Manuel (Tameka Nelson) and Donna Summer (Lisa Stewart) There were also sightings of “Rosa Parks” and “Oprah Winfrey!” In addition to playing the “Guess the the Icon” game for black history themed swag employees also enjoyed a a a selection of soul food items from the “Soul Food Friday” menu networked with colleagues and got a a a glimpse of the programming in in in store for BE in in in 2020 BE NEWSLETTER / MAY 2020 12
