Words of art criticism fall short in describing this. This painter has tri- umphed in spontaneous painting. We cannot merely judge this; we can only gaze in awe at its profound simplicity! It captures “the light of the world” as described by Odysseas Elytis, infusing the robust face, the cam- el’s head—a pillar of the world—with a myrrh-like essence. The gilded mus- tache, the gray waistcoat with pink details, the ra- diantly lit shirt, the for- midable right-side struc- ture, the surreal water house, and the glittering slopes with enchanting rows of trees and mist are all masterfully depicted. This is a work of absolute genius and inspiration!
