hen *Jesus entered into the temple, and he began to drive out those who bought and sold in it, saying to them, “It is written that
my house is a house of prayer, but you have made
it a den of robbers!” He was teaching every day
in the temple, but the chief priests, the scribes
and the leading men among the people were
looking for a way to destroy him. However, they
could not find a way to do so because all the peo-
ple were captured by every word that he said.
