Chapter 3 (691) GOSPEL OF JOHN Per.
10.

ndeed, God so loved the world that he gave his
only-begotten Son, so that everyone who be- lieves in him should not perish but have eternal life. Certainly, God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world should be saved through him.
End to Sunday before the Elevation of the Cross.
Anyone who believes in him is not judged, but who- ever does not believe has already been judged, be- cause such a person has not believed in the Name of the only-begotten Son of God. This is the judg- ment, that the light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who practices evil hates the light and does not come to the light, for fear that his works would be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be revealed as done in God.” End to Tuesday.
fter these things, **Jesus came with his disci-
ples into the land of Judea. He stayed there with them, and baptized. John also was baptizing at Enon near Salim, because there was much water there, and people came, and they were baptized.
