fter these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is to say the Sea of Tiberias. A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he accom- plished on those who were sick.

Jesus went up into the mountain and sat there with his disciples. Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was near.

crowd was coming to him, he asked Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?” But he said this to test Philip, for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, so that every one of them might receive even a little!” One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves of bread and two fish, but what are these among so many?” And Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now, there was much grass in that place,
